The ESPN College GameDay Posters consist of 70 posters created for the 2015, 2017, and 2023 ESPN College GameDay braodcasts held on the campus of James Madison University. Two of the posters were made for the 2015 ESPN College GameDay against the Richmond Spiders. Fourteen of the posters were created for the 2017 ESPN College GameDay against the Villanova Wildcats. Fifty-four posters document the 2023 ESPN College GameDay against the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

Letter, n.y. January 14, Dolley P. Madison [Richmond, Va.] to Margaret Lowther Page (Mrs. John Page), Rosewell, York [County, Va.]. Written before John Page's death in 1808. James Madison served in the Virginia House of Delegates in 1799 and 1800 and the letter is postmarked Richmond. Discusses her disappointment that she and her husband missed seeing the Pages and the Bishop James Madison. Entreats the Pages to spend the next summer with the Madisons in Orange; hopes Mrs. McClane will accompany them; Mrs. J. Mayo sends affectionate greetings. Letter is incomplete and has been encapsulated. 2 p. on 1 leaf ; 17.5 cm. x 37.5 cm.

Typescript copies of letters and extracts, written by Edward Coles (1786-1868), who held the positions of secretary to President James Madison and Governor of Illinois. Subjects covered by the letters include James Madison and the War of 1812; Madison's not emancipating persons enslaved by him at his death; the claiming of public lands by individual states; the estate of James Monroe; Andrew Jackson; Thomas Jefferson's authorship of the Ordinance of 1787; and Jefferson's relationship with John Adams. Typescripts of letters written by Edward Coles to Nicholas Biddle, Joseph C. Cabell, Henry Clay, Albert Gallatin, Thomas Jefferson, Dolley Madison, James Madison, Joel R. Poinsett, Henry S. Randall, Thomas Jefferson Randolph, William Cabell Rives, Charles Sumner, Martin Van Buren and Robert C. Winthrop, among other correspondents.

Dates; 1792-1831, 1931; document and correspondence (some are copies). Includes letters between James Madison, Sr. (1723-1801) and his son President James Madison, Jr., his brother Bishop James Madison, Josiah Quincy, Robert Walsh, and others. Also includes engravings and prints of Madison and a "Report of the Overseers of Harvard University" commenting of the new constitution recently submitted to the people of Virginia. Letters discuss politics, family life in Virginia, religion, and other topics. Also includes a 1931 invitation to the unveiling of the bust of James Madison at Richmond, Va. and photographs of the Madison bust.
