Abstract Or Scope
Records of the Literary Discussion Group of the Morgantown Senior Center of Morgantown, West Virginia. This six volume history through photographs and documents was compiled by Sophia Blaydes, Professor of English, West Virginia University, and a leader of the Group. Each volume includes a table of contents. Includes group rosters, programs, correspondence, newsletters, clippings, and greeting cards. Volume I contains photographs of a visit by West Virginia poet Muriel Dressler; and Volume III contains a transcript of a presentation made by Blaydes at the University of Charleston detailing the Group's activities over a period of ten years, including a list summarizing its activities for over 500 meetings.
