Abstract Or Scope
Eleanore K. Pettersen (1916-2003) received a Certificate in Architecture from Cooper Union for Advancement of Science and Art in 1941, and was an apprentice to Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin from 1941-1943. She was one of the first women licensed as an architect in the state of New Jersey in 1950, and was the first woman in New Jersey to open her own architectural office. She primarily designed residences and was also very active in professional and civic organizations. She became a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (FAIA) in 1991. The collection consists of project files, sketches, blueprints, drawings, models, photographs, and other material relating to over 600 of Pettersen's projects as well as material relating to her participation in various professional and civic organizations. The materials in the collection range in date from 1915-2003 with the bulk of the material dating 1950-2000.

The Bradley H. Patterson, Jr. collection consists of personal, professional, and business papers and files related to Patterson's work and research as a historian and expert on the organization and function of White House staff and executive branch personnel. These papers include correspondence, interview transcripts, notes, memorandums, press releases, organizational charts, newsletters, government and association reports, journal articles, conference and association presentations, audiocassettes, CDs, and newspapers and clippings spanning from 1943 to 2017. This collection also contains large amounts of secondary source materials which have been retained given the importance of Patterson's intellectual decisions and subsequent research value of these organized items as part of the historian's collection.

The Henry H. Bauer Papers contains correspondence, grant reports, newspaper clippings, memoirs, class notes, chemistry files, evaluations, appointment books, lectures, talks, and conference materials - particularly those pertaining to the Society for Scientific Exploration (SSE). Much of the material relates to Bauer's work as academic professor and administrator, as well as his interest in the study of anomalies, especially the Loch Ness Monster.
