These four folders contain items and information used in the exhibit "Undocumented Deeds: an exhibit on the history of Harrisonburg's African-American Community." The exhibit was curated by Dale F. Harter and held in the Warren-Sipe Museum of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society in the autumn of 1991.

The Dale Hill Papers contain recordings, notes, research material, forms, consent waivers, articles, and photographs all relating to the beginning of co-education at the University of Virginia. The bulk of the materials are the audiovisual content, which were maintained previously on and digitized or transferred from audio cassette, DVD, CD, and flash drive carriers at the time the collection was donated to the Library.

Dale Lengua Cuban posters collection, 2019 2 Linear Feet

"Dale Lengua," a Cuban popular expression, is a series of 40 serigraph/screenprint posters exhibited in 2019 in Havana, Cuba. Artists combined words and images to illustrate Cuban slang words and phrases through the use of vibrant images and novel artistic techniques, the specificity of the Spanish language, in particular, Cuban slang.

The series contains primary and secondary resources on the Rockwell brothers, Paul Ayres and Kiffin Yates, and World War I aviation history utilized by author and historian Dale L. Walker in his research. Walker has written, among others, Only the Clouds Remain: Ted Parsons of the Lafayette Escadrille, Amsterdam, NY: Alandale Press, 1980.
