Abstract Or Scope
A symposium at Jackson's Mill sponsored and conducted by the WVU Office of International Programs. The conference was aimed at removing social inhibitions and promoting significant interaction between white, black and international students attending colleges in West Virginia. The three day event consisted of sessions devoted to guest speakers and group discussions about the then current state of racial tensions in the United States and how to alleviate them. Included are participant reactions which were generally favorable towards the conference as an initial step to ending racism in society.

Includes the galley proof of a book compiled by Professor Drake entitled, "Human Relations: A Reader for West Virginians."
