This collection consists of one diary containing thoughts transcribed by an unknown author during a 1982 trip to Asia, with trips to Thailand, India, and Hong Kong. The author comments on the scenery and the locals. Much of the diary concerns Les — the author's significant other and travel companion who left as tensions rose between them. The author's travels, thoughts, and interactions with locals are increasingly bitter and lonely after Les departed. The seller of the diary alludes that the author and Les were lesbian partners but this has not been confirmed. Only about a third of the diary contains entries.

Photographs and photograph albums, circa 1950s-1980s, of Doris C. Baker, author and poet of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The photographs document her travels throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia and include images of scenery, people with whom she met, and people with whom she traveled. Baker was from Muskegon, Michigan and went to work teaching in Department of Defense schools in Europe in the 1950s.

The collection contains 1 diary written by Jane Archer Culbertson. It describes her time working as a teacher in Bangkok and her travel from San Francisco to Bangkok. The diary dates from 1890. A handwritten note entitled a Royal Sport is also included.

Letter from Monc[ure] [Conway], S.S. Australia, to his wife, Ellen, while traveling to Sydney, Australia for a lecture tour. He writes of his love for her, events on the voyage, money matters, sights he has seen and his activities in Australia and other places and his thoughts on religion. September 19, 1883.
