This collection contains records of the Ingleside Book Club of Morgantown, West Virginia. Contents include minute books detailing meeting occurrences; member lists; notebooks that contain reports, musings, and writings by club members; scrapbooks that include photographs of members and book club events; binders containing materials used by the book club secretary; a guest book for a club event containing the signatures of visitors; a golden 50 year anniversary plate; and other items that embody the history of the women's book club.

This collection includes manuscripts, correspondence, research notes, photographs, artifacts, and publications of author Jayne Anne Phillips.

This collection includes the papers of Jeanne Bryner, an Appalachian poet. It features drafts and manuscripts of her written work, materials developed as part of her and others' adaptations of her poetry, journals that she kept from roughly 1990-2020, and newspaper stories and other acclaim for her work. There are also materials relating to Bryner's education in creative writing at Kent State University and her work as an educator to undergraduate students at Kent State and in amateur writing workshops. Lastly, the collection also includes Bryner's personal and professional correspondence and some prints of artwork and family photographs. The most common types of materials are notebooks, event programs, letters, and booklets, but there is a small quantity of digital and audiovisual material related to Bryner's published work and adaptations of her poetry.

This collection includes papers, articles, audiovisual materials, and published works relating to horror writer John Russo. John Russo helped to pioneer the popularization of the "zombie" subgenre of horror into popular culture alongside the late George Romero through writing Night of the Living Dead in 1968. Russo is a graduate of West Virginia University and was born in Clarion, Pennsylvania. This collection details his 50+ year career, as well as the impact of Night of the Living Dead upon not just Appalachian filmmaking and art made in the Pittsburgh area, but horror filmmaking. Alongside his content relating to Night of the Living Dead, the collection also includes some of his published and unpublished works, novels, and various films that he has taken part in. Some notable pieces of this collection are a facsimile of the original screenplay of Night of the Living Dead, Russo's very first typed novel manuscript for Beer and Apathy, which was written during Russo's time at WVU, and several articles bearing the signature of film director and co-creator of Night of the Living Dead, George Romero.

Papers of Katherine G. Johnson. Includes assorted artifacts, family photographs, awards, honorary degrees, correspondence, and other material regarding the career and life of Katherine G. Johnson. The bulk of the collection is focused on material relating to the release of the 2016 film Hidden Figures while other material details Katherine Johnson's early life and her family history. Such material includes news clippings, magazine articles, and fan mail to Katherine G. Johnson.

Scrapbooks, papers, newspaper clippings, and artifacts regarding Leland Byrd, his time as a high school and collegiate basketball player, and his career as athletic director at Glenville State University, Miami Dade College, West Virginia University, and Western Michigan University and as executive director of the Atlantic 10 Conference.
