This collection contains three classroom panel discussion sound recordings as well as forty-one oral history interviews with thirty-six narrators conducted during the Fall 2019 Black Studies and Black Spaces course offered by the African, African American, and Diaspora Studies (AAAD) program. The interviews comprise a diverse group of narrators, including community members, faculty (current and former), students, administrators, staff, and alumni, reflecting on their experiences and perspectives related to Black studies and the creation of Black spaces within academic and community contexts.

This collection is divided into two series. The first series, "abuse of psychiatry and psychiatrists", consists of subject files compiled by Dr. Loren Roth, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. They are evidence of Dr. Roth's efforts to stop the abuse of psychiatry and psychiatrists for political reasons, with an emphasis on the former Soviet Union. The subject files contain correspondence, articles, reports, evaluations, meeting minutes, agendas, planning materials, diaries, photographs, memoranda, handwritten notes, programs, books, videotapes, ephemera, and other items. Together, these materials date from around 1950 to 2008. However the bulk of them date from the 1970s to the 1990s, when Dr. Roth participated in U.S. delegations to the former Soviet Union and was part of the American Psychological Association's (APA) Committees on Human Rights and International Abuse of Psychiatry and Psychiatrists.

This collection includes badges from her involvement with the political process, pamphlets, bumper stickers, pins, and campaign material for the Democratic party.

This collection contains material relating to the announcement, swearing-in, and inauguration of Dr. Katherine Anandi Rowe as the 28th president of William & Mary. Materials include digital video footage of the announcement in the Wren Building's Great Hall that was streamed on social media on February 20, 2018. Also included are web archived news articles relating to the announcement. Other materials includes\ the original, signed oath of office, taken by Rowe during her swearing-in ceremony in the Wren Building's Great Hall on July 2, 2019. It is signed by both Rowe and the Governor of Virginia. It also includes digital video footage of the swearing-in ceremony. Digital video footage of Charter Day 2019 and the inauguration of Rowe and the investiture of Chancellor Robert Gates are also contained in this collection.

"Selfie" series of art posters in which Cuban graphic designers depicted the ways in which taking selfies have become part of our daily lives. The collection consists of 20 serigraph/screenprint posters, including one by Alucho, one by Laura Llopiz, one by Pepe Menendez, one by Cuba's leading graphic designer Nelson Ponce, and 17 additional works by male and female graphic designers at various stages of their careers.

The Student Organizations collection contains fliers, announcements, and programs for various student organizations at William & Mary. The organizations include academic clubs, arts groups, Greek social organizations, religious organizations, student athletic associations, and other groups.
