Annual reports and some monthly reports of the West Virginia University Libraries' Reference Department, created for library administration. In 2012/2013, the Reference Department became the Research Services Department. The collection includes almost complete runs of the annual reports from 1940-1968 and 1990-2016. Also included is one report of the University Library to the President, fiscal year 1957/1958.

Subject files containing newspaper clippings related to West Virginia University from the 1880s to approximately 2006. Most articles are from the 1960s and 1970s. Subjects include campus athletics, buildings, graduating classes, committees, facilities, faculty and faculty publications, organizations, the Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system, and special events.

Administrative and operational records of WVU's Lambda Chapter of Phi Upsilon Omicron, the national Home Economics honor society. Addendum of 2016/05/13 includes minutes, newsletters, clippings, historical research material, and oral history audio cassette sound recordings. Addendum of 2018/06/15 includes Lambda Chapter and Lambda alumni records, including member lists, alumni chapter meeting notes, a few photographs, the honor society's handbook, material from the 75th anniversary conclave of Phi Upsilon Omicron, and more. Records of the Native American Studies program at West Virginia University. Includes records of Ann Paterson, professor and first chair of the program, of Carolyn Reyer, professor, and of Bonnie Brown, current program coordinator. Also included are records regarding programming put on by the Program for Native American Studies, including the annual Peace Tree ceremony, the Native American Studies Teacher Institute (2009), and assorted retreats, presentations, trips, and more.

Assorted records of the University Events department of West Virginia University, including assorted photograph albums of various university events, a sizeable collection of Cat's Meow Village collectible standees of WVU buildings and buildings across West Virginia, a signed soccer ball, and other material.

The collection consists of documents, photographs, DVDs, and ephemera collected by William & Mary students who participated in the American Bosnian Collaboration Project, also known as the ABC Project.

This collection includes programs, ephemera, and artifacts documenting the William & Mary Global Film Festival. Items include programs from 2020, stickers, as well as promotional fliers and posters.

Established by American Studies Ph.D. Kevin Kosanovich working in Swem Library's Special Collections, the William & Mary Hip Hop Collection is the most comprehensive of its kind dedicated to Virginia's hip hop culture and history from the 1980s to the present. The collection includes oral histories committed to preserving and documenting Virginia's rich hip hop past, as well as recordings of hip hop music, publications, and ephemera created by Virginia and Virginia-based artists, collectives, and businesses. Additionally, the collection documents the origins and impact of hip hop culture on college campuses throughout the state by collecting records of hip hop based student organizations, college radio stations, events and concerts with a special focus on William & Mary itself.
