José Strauss papers, 1963/2018

The bulk of the collection relates to the Pediatric Nephrology Seminars which José Strauss chaired at the University of Miami from 1974-2006. Other materials include a curriculum vitae and biographical sketch of José Strauss, a memorial photo book, awards and certificates, and publications. Also present are several items related to the acclaimed Mexican pediatric nephrologist Gustavo Gordillo Paniagua (1923-2012). 7 books belonging to José Strauss were also donated with his papers, these will be cataloged into the rare books collection at the Claude Moore Health Sciences Library.
