Collections

Commemorative Commission records, 2007-2020, document the meetings, activities, discussions, decisions, and recommendations of the Virginia Commission on the Bicentennial of the War of 1812, the Virginia Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War Commission, and the Virginia WWI and WWII Commemoration Commission. Many of the records pertain to planning for commemorative events.

This collection contains documents related to commencement at the Norfolk Division of the College of William and Mary, Old Dominion College, and Old Dominion University. Contains commencement addresses, audio tapes of commencement ceremonies, and commencement ceremony programs. Digitized versions of commencement programs in PDF format are included for years spanning. The audiotapes of commencement ceremonies are in reel to reel format.

This collection includes programs, scripts, remarks, addresses, speeches, invitations, and other related material from commencement exercises at the College of William and Mary. Events and ceremonies related to graduation would also include the baccalaureate service and other events.

The items in this collection date from 1863 to 2021 and include mainly Commencement programs and invitations. However, the collection also includes newspaper clippings, school announcements, and webpage print-outs.

These print and digital records document commencement ceremonies and related events at the University of Virginia School of Law. They include event programs, video recordings, photographs, and websites.

The records of the Communications Office document the department's contributions to the University of Virginia School of Law. The collection contains copies of printed matter produced by the office, including admissions information booklets, brochures, flyers, posters, reports, conference and symposium programs, postcards, and stationary. Also, it contains some of the resources used to produce the printed matter and other content. These include photographic slides, prints, and negatives; digital image files; and digital design and publication files. Finally, the collection contains two CD-ROMs and two banners.

Records of the Community Coalition for Social Justice, a coalition of assorted Morgantown, WV area locals, organizations, and others focused on promoting the principles of social, environmental, and economic justice and respect for all persons in the Morgantown area and surrounding communities. Includes assorted reports, program materials, steering committee and annual meeting minutes, and other material.

This collection includes material from the opening, special and honors convocations held at the College of William and Mary.
