The Barbara McKnight Benham Papers, 1966-2021, comprise materials related to Madison College sorority life, campus events, and alumni associated events. The collection focuses primarily on McKnight's student experience as a member of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority with correspondence, photographs, and invitations giving insight to campus life from 1966-1970.

The collection consists of one box of schedules, rosters, programs, scorebooks, tickets posters and other materials related to the intercollegiate baseball program at William & Mary from the years 1908-2015. The material is primarily divided chronologically, although there is one separate folder containing two scorebooks from the 1920s and another containing tickets to baseball games from the years 1999-2010. A majority of the material was originally published or created by the William and Mary Athletics Department.

Base Hospital No. 41 collection 1.66 Linear Feet

Of unique relevance to the University of Virginia Health System is the Base Hospital 41 collection. It includes: photographs and negatives of Base Hospital 41; photocopies of photos held by the National Library of Medicine, History of Medicine; Base Hospital 41 newsletters; news clippings; medals; excerpts from Glenn B. Updike's wartime diary; documents relating to Chief Nurse Margaret Cowling; a history of Base Hospital 41; "The University of Virginia Base Hospital Forty-One," by the Commanding Officer, Julian M. Cabell; a historical sketch of Base Hospital 41 by Deming J. Shear; correspondence and photos related to reunions; and other archival material.

The Benjamin Huddle Diary consists of a photocopy and transcript of the diary, which describes his experience as a Confederate soldier in the 29th Virginia Infantry during the American Civil War. The transcript was produced by his decendent Randal Huddle.

Wigfall, Benjamin L., 1930-2017
The collection documents the life and work of Benjamin L. Wigfall, African American abstract expressionist artist. Benjamin L. Wigfall was the second African American artist to have a painting aquired by the VMFA, as well as the youngest ever artist to do the same. In addition to his work as an artist, Wigfall also taught and mentored in both Virginia at Hampton Institute, as well as New York at SUNY New Paltz and in his own community. Additionally, the collection contains documents related to the life and career of artist and educator, Mary Carter Wigfall, Benjamin L. Wigfall's wife. Mary C. Wigfall founded and directed the Migrant Childcare Center in New York from the early 1970s until her retirement in 1992.

Papers of West Virginia artist Bernie Peace who taught at West Liberty State College in the Wheeling area for 35 years, from 1960-1995. Includes notebooks of slides of artworks, exhibit programs, and clippings, among other material. Addenda include 56 photo collages, and 23 artworks of mixed media.
