The Greenwood Library Archives and Special Collections collects and makes accessible records of historical importance to the university, region, and state. We celebrate curiosity and encourage the exploration of new ideas by engaging with our unique collections.

The Greenwood Library Archives and Special Collections serve as the repository for the Farmville Prince Edward County Historical Society and the Moton Museum.

Twenty-Five Years of Progress, 1972/1997 1 Folder folder includes a booklet and one DVD.

The booklet includes a timeline of significent events which took place during Dr. Anderson's tenure as Superintendet of Public School in Prince Edward County, many of the entries were taken from minutes of the School Board. The DVD includes photogaphs and narration of significant evnets and people who served in the Prince Edward County Schools from 1972-1997.

The University Library Collection consists of materials related to the business and operations of the Dabney Lancaster Library (1939-1991) and the Janet D. Greenwood Library (1991-current). These materials include: correspondence, committee information, reports, workshops and programs, fiscal information, meeting minutes, staff files, partnerships, donations, and information pertaining to accessions and holdings.
