Includes a photocopy of the will of William Parsons (1828); an accurate typescript of the will, prepared by donor; a less accurate transcript of the will, from a family history book; a transcript of an 1850s financial document from the Randolph County Courthouse about Buck, one of the slaves mentioned in Parsons' will who was apparently suing for freedom; and background information about William Parsons and his wife, Catherine/Catharine, as well as the names of Buck's children.

Also included are copies and transcripts of correspondence to, from, and about Small, and photocopies of a picture of him.

This collection consists of seven diaries that William Taylor Baskett (1884-1972) created to document his life in 1903 and 1904, including his experiences as a University of Virginia School of Law student. It also contains digital copies of the diaries and digital files the donor created while researching Baskett.

These papers include mainly reprints of Thom's publications on geology (1917-1955) along with several letters and a travel diary (1920).

This collection is composed of the personal papers of College of William and Mary Faculty member William Warner Moss, Jr. It contains correspondence, notes, photographs, recordings, and other material. Featured in the papers are Moss' personal research notes about Ireland, court cases, and other political issues; class lecture notes; clippings about the 1952 football scandal; and subject files related to various Virginia elections.

Chronicles performances (ca. 700) of drama, musical comedy, minstrel shows, vaudeville, and melodrama. Includes names of major actors and playwrights of the shows, such as Warren L. Olivier, Lillie Langtry, Fanny Janauschek, Emma Abbott, Thomas W. Keene, Sol S. Russell, Frank Chanfrau, Otis Skinner, Helena Modjeska, Julia Marlowe, and De Wolf Hopper, and the critical reaction to the performances by Staunton newspapers.

Family papers include Winborne Jr.'s school papers and notebooks from his years at Washington and Lee University, as well as information about his fraternity, Delta Tau Delta. Three folders contain printed matter about his father, Roger M. Winborne, a Class of 1911 graduate of Washington and Lee University Law School.
