The University Library Collection consists of materials related to the business and operations of the Dabney Lancaster Library (1939-1991) and the Janet D. Greenwood Library (1991-current). These materials include: correspondence, committee information, reports, workshops and programs, fiscal information, meeting minutes, staff files, partnerships, donations, and information pertaining to accessions and holdings.

The materials in this collection date from 1818 to 1970 and consist of historical memorabilia, ephemera, documents, and photographs collected by members of Pi Gamma Mu, as well as materials related specifically to the organization itself.

This collection includes a variety of materials, including scrapbooks from 1933-2011, composites from 1949-2018, photographs, VHS tapes, memorabilia and membership records.

This collection contains ledgers, meeting minutes, correspondences, memoirs, letters, photos, newspapers and magazines, and programs from the Alumni Association between the years of 1950 - 2007. These materials are from events such as Board Meetings, Founders Day, and Fall and Spring council meetings.

This collection, which dates from 1742 to 1963, consists of correspondence, land grants, wills, family histories, and genealogical notes related primarily to the Baldwin, Hannah, Wyllie, Blanton, and Spraggins families.

This collection consists of a "rat day" placard made and worn by Anne Collier Orgain, circa 1945.

This collection consists of print materials documenting sports-related activities and events from 1926/27 through 1963/64. Beginning with the 1942/43 academic year, minutes of Athletic Association meetings and lists of members are included.

This collection includes multiple different Audio Visual formats including, Audio Reel to Reel, 8mm and 16mm film reels, Betamax, Umatic, VHS, DVD, CD, MiniDVs, Audio Cassette tapes. The recordings cover a variety of University, departmental, and student events, raw footage from promotional videos and Longwood productions, such as the Longwood Show, materials related to the Rotunda fire in 2001, speeches, meetings, student life and other events on campus.

Photographs of Mildred Ellen Bailey and Marion Josephine "Jo" Bailey who both attended State Teachers College in the 1940s. Photographs include photos with friends and siblings, most were not taken at State Teachers College.

This collection, which dates from 1936 to 1949, consists of two scrapbooks. These scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings, ephemera, photographs, and correspondence with, and regarding, writers the society brought to speak in Farmville.
