Diaries, 1904-1913, kept by Blanche Luella Barhite, who was 17 years old in 1904. Blanche records daily events and chores, and talks about social activities and family life. Cookbook, circa 1900-1910, of an unknown person from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Includes recipes both cut out of a newspaper and glued into the volume as well as hand written recipes. There are also assorted newspaper clippings unrelated to cooking that have been glued into the volume.

Papers, 1892-1942, of the family of George Clarke Glidden and his wife Mary A. Kelley of Dorchester, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The bulk of the material consists of correspondence, but there are also postcards and invitations in the collection. The letters describe the daily lives of the family, including house work, courtships, social entertainment, vacations, child-raising, and recreation. Most of the letters were written between Mary A. Kelley, her husband George Clark Glidden, and their daughter Barbara Glidden.

Diaries, 1900 and 1912, of Mary E. Anderson of Alleghany and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In daily entries she talks about chores, social visits, church, collecting books for 'Mrs. Booker T. Washington's club for colored women.' Also included are 2 news clippings regarding predictions made by clairvoyants and one clipping with a recipe for facial cream. There is also a postcard featuring Betty Springer as well as well as a calling card with her name on it.
