Guy Tetrick, including letters and financial information.

This series includes printed and manuscript items such as: a scrapbook of newspaper clippings regarding the Civil War (ca. 1861-1865); ephemera related to West Virginia (1848-1922); handwritten lecture notes by T.H. Dennis on legal topics (1872-1873); and clippings and handwritten notes regarding the history, appearance, and growing of various flowers (1899-1936 and undated). Many of the handwritten notes and some of the clippings bear handwritten page numbers and the words "used" or "not used." This series includes scrapbooks of newspaper clippings. The clippings touch on all aspects of Pierpont's life, including his involvement in West Virginia becoming a state and news stories of his death from major newspapers around the country. Some of the scrapbooks are published books into which newspaper clippings have been pasted over the existing text. Some of the scrapbooks were likely created by Francis H. Pierpont, while others were probably created by Anna Pierpont Siviter and William H. Siviter.

This series consists of assorted oversize material, including blueprints, children's books, and sheet music.

Personal papers include financial statements; correspondence regarding the Davis Children's Shelter; documents related to the design and construction of Graceland, including correspondence with Baldwin and Pennington (Graceland's architects); and obituary notices for the 1902 death of Katherine Bantz Davis, wife of H.G. Davis. Political papers include letters related to the 1913 West Virginia Semi-Centennial celebration; correspondence and materials related to Davis's 1904 Vice Presidential nomination, such as congratulatory telegrams, and other Parker/Davis ticket papers; and other political letters.
