Papers include correspondence, receipts, customer accounts and printed materials of general store owner Richard Trice and legal documents and county complaints for Justice of Peace, and son of Richard Trice, James M. Trice, both of Goochland County, Virginia.

Tyree collection of research notes of Virginia families compiled from Virginia county records. Notebooks containing genealogical information compiled by Young Tyree. Concerns mostly Virginia counties and families, but also includes notes from Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Scotland and England. Tyree took notes on looseleaf paper of land patents and arranged the pages in binders by county and by patentee in alphabetical orders. Families he was particularly interested in were Allen, Avery, Black, Branch, Burton, Chadwell, Cox, Davenport, Durham, Elam, Ferguson, Finch, Fleming, Fore, Goddin, Hancock, Hatcher, Hogg, Jones, Jordan, Meredith, Mills, Mitchell, Mosby, Moseley, Pollock, Price, Ratcliffe, Shepherd, Smith, Summers, Taylor, Tiller and Tyree. He also took notes from censuses and from tax rolls.

University of Virginia, and Charlottesville (and local counties) collection of correspondence, prints, and photographs, 1836-1891, 1985, 2011,0.04 cubic feet, of reproductions of pencil sketches of University Presidents Frank Hereford, Robert O'Neil by Eric Knowles, and a color photograph of the academic procession at the inauguration of Teresa A. Sullivan.

This collection contains art and artwork held by Historical Collections & Services at UVA's Claude Moore Health Sciences Library. Items in the collection consist of paintings, portraits, caricatures, maps, and drawings. An updated inventory was completed in 2026 to accompany space renovations that happened in the department between 2025-2026.

The collection comprises mostly of anatomical illustrations of humans and animals by professional medical illustrators and medical practioners, but there is a good number of caricatures. Many of the images depict 20th century surgical prodedures; there are also physiological illustrations included in the collection. Most items are drawn in pencil on illustration paper with cardboard backing. In addition, there are some drawings in notepads and on tracing paper.
