Listed in the account book are transactions recording payment for tables, chair frames, cradles, agricultural produce, horse pasturage, and labor. The book begins with approximately 40 pages of accounts, then the next 50 pages are blank, and the remaing section of the book contains more accounts.

Dickson Family Papers, 1769/1924

The papers consist largely of land, property, and goods transaction receipts and documents of each of the four generations of the Dickson Family, who originally settled in what is now Greenbrier County, Virginia (now West Virginia) in the 1770s. Certificates, oaths, correspondence, deeds, and a diary are included in Joseph Dickson's papers, along with several sale documents for enslaved people from the late 1700s and early 1800s. Much of the land and goods and many of the enslaved people were exchanged with neighbors and others in the area.

Includes correspondence for the years 1900-1931; shipping records indicating the type of brick, to whom sent, quantity sent, railroad, and the date for the years 1907-1913; freight bills from various railroads for the years 1906 to 1909 and 1921 to 1923; bills and orders, 1900 to 1931; one large payroll book with line entries for each worker listing days and hours worked with deductions for store, coal, etc., one unrelated account book for a store at Lancaster, Pa., for the years1803 to 1811; cancelled check files for 1906,1908,1921,1924 and 1928; and three sample bricks produced by the company.
