I suffer so much anxiety for my three absent sons. Please let us hear from you. Your papa received a letter from Tommy (Thomas Tudor Tucker). He is in great distress for the loss of his schooner. He still plans to practice in Charlestown. Natty (Nathaniel Tucker) seems inclined to settle in London, but don't think that is advisable. The family is quite well.

A plan of the action at Bunkers Hill, on the 17th. of June, 1775 : between His Majesty's troops under the command of Major General Howe, and the rebel forces 1 Sheets Drawer 122 : L : 3, Section 5

Page, an English military engineer who served as aide de campe to General Howe during the action, prepared this detailed plan of the Battle of Bunker Hill. It is the best known and most commonly reproduced plan of the battle. Warrens redoubt, fences, and hedgerows are shown in great detail, as well as the lines of march of attacking forces, British ships, and the Corps Hill battery with lines of fire. The position of British troops late in the action is depicted on a separate overlay which accompanies the map.
