Greene County (Va.) Air Warning Service, Ground Observer Corps, Post 128-G Records, 1942-1944, consists of five log books and one poster created by Ground Observer Corps Post 128-G code named Olive 44, and later renamed Nan 071. The log books record the names of observers, date and time frame observers volunteered, number of planes identified, weather conditions, and visibility. Several volumes contained letters from the Commonwealth of Virginia Office of Civil Defense or the Norfolk Air Defense Wing concerning awards and decorations for volunteers and other issues. This correspondence has been placed in folders with the volumes in which they were found. One oversize item, a poster warning against trespassing by order of the U.S. Army, is housed in an oversize box.

Greene County (Va.) Apprenticeship Indentures, 1844-1867, are bonds and contracts of apprenticeship given by the Overseers of the Poor, showing the names of master and apprentice, the trade to be taught, details of the contract, the amount of the bond and the names of sureties. Many of the apprentices bound out prior to 1866 were "free Blacks" and "free persons of color."

Greene County (Va.) Fiduciary Records, 1841-1960, include miscellaneous records filed in a local court by trustees, administrators, executors, guardians, and committees that related to the performance of their duties managing a person's estate. These records typically include the following; bonds, appraisements, audits, inventories, accounts, estate divisions, settlements, dowery records, etc. Information related to enslaved people are commonly found in these records.

Greene County (Va.) Organization Records, 1838-1976, typically consist of appointments of trustees, minutes, and miscellaneous records of religious organizations, fraternal organizations, independent associations, and cooperatives.
