Abstract Or Scope
Correspondence, minutes and miscellaneous papers of David A. Christopher, West Virginia University stadium office manager (1923-42) and secretary of the University Committee of the State Planning board. Primarily these papers contain suggestions for long term improvements and of funding needs at WVU in the immediate post-war (World War II) era. Also there are papers from his days as a student at WVU, Class of 1918, reflecting his activities in fraternities, as editor and chief of the Daily Athenaeum and as cadet colonel of ROTC. Correspondents include: Howard M. Gore, John J. Cornwell, John W. Davis, Walter S. Hallanan, M. M. Neely, Clarence W. Meadows, Chapman Revercomb, and Jennings Randolph.
