Most of the drawings document structures built in Richmond, Virginia, however a number of buildings from surrounding cities and counties are also included. These include: Buena Vista, Lexington, Newport News, and Petersburg; Albemarle Chesterfield, Henrico, King William, Mecklenburg, and Montgomery Counties.
