A copy of the section ("The Ashcrafts") from the "History of Worthington, West Virginia and Surrounding Communities" is included in the collection. There is also an excerpt from "West Virginians in the Revolutionary War" (No. 1, 1959) that lists Ashcraft (Ashcroft) family members' service information. There are photographs of family members, most identified, that were photocopied for the "Report". Alternative spellings of Ashcraft include Ashcrofte and de Ashcroft.
