Program for this event noting the posthumous awarding of the Distinguished Service Cross, Purple Heart, and World War I Victory Medal to Moomaw a Washington and Lee University law student and law professor. A shadow-box (2005A:001) containing the Purple Heart and Victory Medal (with three battle clasps) is stored with artifacts.

Accession number 2009M:001. Two bound volumes of notes from law class lectures. First volume contains classes Real Property, Real Property, Partnerships, and Agency. Second Volume includes courses Practice and Pleading, Equity, and Common Carriers. Teachers were Professors John Randolph Tucker and Charles Graves and Judge William McLaughlin.

3.40: Ruth Bader Ginsburg Note, 2017 Box-folder 1/48

Accession number 2017:0003. Thank you note from Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the Women's Law Student Organization for gift of a t-shirt depicting the Justice created for her visit to the law school on Feb. 1, 2017. Ms. Williams stated the following wish, which was not promised by the archives: "Valerie and I thought that it would be fitting for the archives to have the original note, and to possibly be displayed in the law school somewhere along with the t-shirt. We'd like it to say donated by Lizzy Williams 17L, and Valerie Fulton 17L, Co-Presidents of WLSO. We didn't buy a frame for it since we thought that you would know best about conservation glass, and framing and so fourth. "
