Abstract Or Scope
The Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College diploma printing plate is a gold/copper hued metal and is mounted on a wooden frame. At the top of the plate is the college's seal, followed by text in reverse in the middle, and two crossed rifles at the bottom of the plate. Surrounding the college's seal is text stating "Virgina Argricultural and Mechanical College." The middle of the plate has some standard text in reverse, as well as blank lines for added personalized text and possibly the signatures of the Board of Visitors.
