Brafferton Medal (UA 1982.026) Artifacts Box 510

One gold medal awarded to Dudley Redwood Coles as the Brafferton Prize for Scholarship in the School of Pedagogies. The prize was given to Cowles in 1890 for being the best student teacher. Cowles presented it to the College in 1948 upon receiving his Doctor of Laws. The obverse of the medal shows King William III and Queen Mary II in profile.
