Photograph album created by Thomas "Tommy" Matthew William Green, Jr. who served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a second generation African American soldier, his father, Thomas M. W. Green was a Sergeant - Cavalry Detachment in the Army and is buried at West Point Military Academy Cemetery. Green was part of a segregated unit and his album features photos of his friends and family along with other soldiers with whom he served. The photographs along with some of his captions capture many aspects of Green's experience while he was in the Army including a brutal march in boot camp that he claimed "it seems like the skin on the bottom of my feet all came lose [sic]". There are also photographs of Tommy that show he was injured with a leg wound. He is shown on a stretcher in an army transport vehicle, being loaded into a military plane, and also in a hospital ward recovering from his wounds.

This collection consists of the papers from the military career of Thomas St. J. Arnold with most items dating from World War II (1939-1945). The collection includes operational reports of the 92nd Infantry Division, maps, photographs, and correspondence.

Papers of Thurman Irving "T.I." Miller (1919-2017), a native of southern West Virginia who served in the Marine Corps from 1939-1945, worked as a master electrician in the coal mining industry, and authored multiple books about both those experiences later in life.

This artificial collection of World War II era correspondence spans 1935 and 1939-1945. The letters are primarily from soldiers serving in the US Armed Forces, but there are also a few letters written by American civilians living in the USA during this period. One folder contains 33 letters from various German soldiers, written to Marie Luise Matsko of Wiesbaden, Hesse, Germany (written in German). Collected by Tom Sunkiskis, this two-box collection contains correspondence from a variety of authors serving in all branches of the US military excluding the Coast Guard. Correspondence has been sorted by author and/or recipient and a brief description of the correspondence dialogue is provided. Some letters contain photographs.
