Special Collections includes manuscript collections, rare books, and the University Archives, as well as state, local and historical maps and photographs. The Krasimira Choneva Architectural Collection includes conceptual and working drawings as well as supporting documents for six projects. The projects range in date from 1958-1994 and were all designed and completed in Bulgaria by Krasimina Choneva. The collection also includes one biographical sketch written by Choneva herself as well as an additional biography written by Milka Bliznakov in 2007.

Lilia Gramatikova is an Bulgarian architect who practiced in Bulgaria, Mongolia, and East Germany from 1953-1985. The collection consists of 72 hand-drawn architectural drawings of two projects: Music High School for Folk Instruments and Folk Singing in Shiroka Lukka, Bulgaria (1974) and Territorial Information and Computing Center in Vrasta, Bulgaria (1981). Also present is a drawing (photocopy) of Gramatikova's personal residence in Sofia (1965) and a folder containing biographical information.

Her collection includes a curriculum vitae, project lists, and renderings/construction drawings for two projects: workers vacation retreat for the Shumen Chemical Factory "Volov" (1979) and vacation houses in the Village of Rogachevo, Balchik County (near Varna, 2005).
