Collection of ten scrapbooks documenting the various West Virginia chapters of Alpha Delta Kappa, and international honorary organization of women educators. Scrapbooks originate from the Past State President's Archives and date from 1986-2004. They contain photographs of officers and events as well as programs and newspaper clippings. Also included in collection are two framed artworks, one a drawing of Jan Hackney (1990) and one a logo used by Hackney (2000-2002).

There is a discussion of the beginnings in Morgantown of this organization as well as a copy of its constitution and by-laws. The local chapter was involved not only in the cause of temperance but also conducted classes for the education of youth in crafts and literature and the teaching of the English language to immigrant women.
