Linda Kiisk is an artist, architect, and educator specializing in sustainable design and historic preservation. This collection documents her personal and professional activities between 1968-2013, including her architectural studies, organizational activities, travel, projects, and career with her practice, Studio EESTI.

This collection includes the papers of Lois Davidson Gottlieb, architectural designer, author, and lecturer. It includes photographs, writings, storyboards, and printed material relating to her various professional activities as an author and lecturer, as well as some drawings from her work as an undergraduate and graduate student. Also includes files and drawings relating to her work on various residential design projects dating from 1951 to 2002.

The collection contains papers of Los Angeles, California architect Lorraine Rudoff. Included are 2 rolls of floor plans and elevations from 1975-1976; one scrapbook containing photographs, clippings, architectural drawings, etc.; and three conference pins.

Louise Hall (1905-1990) was an American architect, who taught art and architectural history at Duke University from 1931 to 1975. Her papers document her teaching career, architecture career, and personal life.

The Lucy Herndon Crockett Papers consists of type and manuscript versions of some of Crockett's published and unpublished novels, her illustrations and art for her publications, and a small group of personal papers and papers about her. Materials date from about 1940 to 2015.

Lucy Lee Lancaster was born in Blacksburg, Virginia in 1905 and lived there until she died in 1989. She was one of the first women admitted to Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Institute (popularly known as VPI), and after graduating in 1925, she went on to earn her MLS from Columbia University Library School. She worked at the VPI library for the rest of her career. The Lancaster papers contain biographical materials, family papers, genealogy research, correspondence with family, friends, and business contacts, membership materials from local organizations, and travel memorabilia from her numerous national and international trips.

The papers of Margaret M. Sullivan, a resident of Montgomery County, Virginia, include reminiscences of her life in Montgomery County from 1926 through World War II and two photographs of students at Montgomery County's Sunnyside School.

Margaret (Peggy) Cochrane Architectural Collection includes drawings for approximately 70 professional projects. Project drawings vary in size and detail, and most are residential projects in Southern California.

Marie-Louise Laleyan (1935-2014) was a San Francisco based architect with 48 years of experience including 30 years as principal of Laleyan Architects (1977-2007). The collection contains architectural drawings, specifications, construction files, and photographs relating to projects undertaken by Marie-Louise Laleyan (1977-2007) and Laleyan Architects (1972-1977). Photographic record of her U.S. employment (1965-1972) is also present.

Marjorie Rhodes Townsend (1930-2015) was the first women to earn an engineering degree at George Washington University, receiving her Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in 1951. After eight years at the Naval Research Laboratory, she moved to National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)'s Goddard Space Flight Center in 1959, where she worked until 1980. Townsend was project manager for three Small Astronomy Satellites (SAS, 1966-1975) and for Applications Explorer Missions (1975-1976), and later had responsibility for all advanced mission planning for future scientific and applications satellites as well as NOAA's meteorological satellites. Townsend's papers, 1960-1994, n.d., focus on her professional career in aerospace engineering at NASA and include some of her later consulting work, mainly consisting of correspondence, meeting notes, project documents, and publications that Townsend wrote or that relate to her work. There are also materials about her numerous speaking engagements and articles about Townsend's professional accomplishments.
