Items also relate to George's father-in-law John Surface, his daughter Effie Kabrich, and others. An item of note is a Rat Belt which is believed to have belonged to Robert H. Kabrich, the grandson of George's brother Issiah.

Guynn Cadet Uniform, 1920/1930

The Guynn Cadet Uniform Collection consists of a jacket and hat. The hat is structured and made of a navy blue fabric. It has a black ribbon wraped around it right above the bill of the hat. There are grommet holes on the sides of the hat. On the interior a brown leather band it stitched in. A label printed onto the interior of the hat reads "WILLIAM C. ROWLAND INC. UNIFORMS PHILIDELPHIA." The jacket is made of a navy blue fabric with black plastic buttons. There is black trims of fabric around the collar, front opening, hem, and cuffs of the jacket. Two black stripes are present on the back of the jacket. There are two gold buttons on the collar of the jacket depicting "VPI" with crossing sticks and "ROTC" with a torch between "RO" and "TC." two hooks are present at the front of the collar, and a white button on the back interior of the collar. The interior of the body is lined with black fabric while the sleeves are lined with white fabric. A tag on the side of the jacket reads "Virginia Polytechnic Institute BLACKSBURG, VA V.E. KELSEY Mgr. Unifrom De__." There is evidence of hand written text on lines that have printed "Mr." and "Date" but the written text has faded, what can be made out reads "Guynn Co. D."

The Hard Times Blues Collection contains materials about the play Hard Times Blues by Lucy Sweeney and its production by the Dumas Theatre Troupe in 2003. Items include background research, correspondence, and a 2019 revised copy of the play as well as programs, flyers, photographs, and a newspaper article about the 2003 production. The play is about Blacksburg local and Virginia Tech employee Floyd "Hardtimes" Meade (1882-1941), who was influential as a mascot performer and turkey trainer for football games. His turkeys served as an early predecessor to the HokieBird mascot representing Virginia Tech today.
