This collection contains approximately 250 postcards. Dated cards range from 1906 through 1995, but many cards are not dated. Cards depict various subjects including campus views, campus buildings, football, Corps of Cadets, and Blacksburg views. Some of the postcards are postmarked and addressed to recipients, while some are blank.

The Virginia Tech Academic Regalia collection includes: a gown, hat, and hood. The hat is black with a yellow tassel. On the inside of the hat it reads "Oak Hall Cap and Gown Co. Roanoke, Virginia, 7 5/8 in front of cap." The condition is good, some discoloration on inside. The gown is black and made of cotton. There are black velvet stripes on either side of the opening. There are also three black velvet stripes on each sleeve, and velvet stripes that come to a point on the back of the gown. Material is gathered starting midway on the front where sleeve is connected to body, and goes over the shoulder then crosses the back to meet itself. Where this intersection occurs, a black cloth covered button holds the braided material down. The label inside the gown reads "Oak Hall Cap and Gown Co. Roanoke VA "Serving the Nation" Size 58." The condition is good. The hood has a blue velvet stripe that encircles the opening and burgundy and orange satin stripes on inside. Black cotton makes up the rest. A small black cord is sewn into the material at the thin section of the hood (this can be used for hanging it up). Label inside the hood reads "Oak Hall Cap and Gown Co. Roanoke, VA "Serving the South"." The condition is good, some discoloration and stains from when it was on a hanger.

The Virginia Tech Alumni Associaiton Cards, RG 29e, contains cards and rosters about Virginia Tech alumni from 1875 thru 1970. Items include a variety of biographical data, such as names, graduation years, degree program, addresses, names of spouses and children, military service, and more. Series are based on format and arrangement, and individuals may be identified in one or more series.

The Virginia Tech April 16, 2007 Archives of the University Libraries consists mainly of condolence items received by the university in the wake of April 16, 2007 in which 32 faculty and students were killed. The subseries organization is by type of item. The bulk of materials were received in the first few months following April 16, 2007. There also is a very small series with items specifically sent to or relating to those killed, which is organized alphabetically by name.

This is a pyramidical maroon and orange bag with "VIRGINIA TECH" (in print or block lettering), "Hokies" (in cursive), and the long-necked Fighting Gobbler emblem on each side. The inside of the bag has a tag that reads "ATCHISON LEATHER INC. ATCHISON, KANSAS."

The banner is white with three large grommet holes along the top and bottom for hanging purposes. In the top right and left corners of the banner are two different versions of the Virginia Tech logo in orange and maroon. In the middle of the banner is a "VPI" logo with a fightin' gobbler head and the text "FIGHTIN' GOBBLER" below it. On either side of the "VPI" logo are different versions of the Hokie Bird.

This collection includes oral history transcripts and cassette tapes from various African Americans with experience at Virginia Tech and/or in the Blacksburg area between the 1950s and the early 2000s.

Collection consists of architectural drawings, blueprints, and floorplans of selected campus buildings located on the campus of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA.

This collection includes one shoulder cord, two sets of shoulder boards, and a leather holder for sword.
