This collection contains the papers of Helen Butler, arts educator, actress, and writer, on Ernie McClintock, American director, teacher, and theatre artist. The collection contains professional correspondence, memos, pamphlets, brochures, flyers, reports, newsletters, clippings, obituaries, Articles of Incorporation of the Jazz Theater and the Afro-American Heritage Society, as well as By-Laws for Jazz theater, and a headshot of Ernie McClintock. Also included is an album of the Afro-American Studio, which consists of an essay by Barbara Lewis on the theater's history as well as fliers, clippings, and correspondence related to the Afro-American Studio.

This collection consists of correspondence, clippings, photographs, programs, playbooks and other material collected by William and Mary Theatre professor Howard Scammon. The bulk of the material is correspondence between Scammon and his former students, but the papers also include documentation related to the William and Mary Theatre, The Common Glory, the Jamestown Festival of 1957, other Williamsburg theatre groups and famous William and Mary alumni such as Glenn Close and Linda Lavin. Some personal papers are also included.

An illustrated scroll - or emakimono - of samples of masks and a record of props used in Noh theater, created circa late 19th century or early 20th century. The scroll measures nearly 30 feet in length when unrolled and is constructed of individual illustrated leaves that have been adhered together to create the scroll. When rolled, the scroll is housed in a wooden box.
