Abstract Or Scope

Middlesex County (Va.) Summonses, 1863, consists of two summonses. The first summons commands William F. Pressen to testify on the behalf of the Commonwealth in the felony case against Nancy, a slave owned by Prosser Tabb. The other summons calls for Alfred Healy to answer Richard H. Bristow in a plea of damages for five hundred dollars.
