Ephemera includes newspapers, tickets, maps, telegrams, cablegrams, and pamphlets from the Panama Canal Zone, the Pacific coast of the United States, Manila, Shanghai, Peking, Kyoto, and Tokyo. Includes detailed descriptions, photographs of Beatrice Livingstone and her party, and maps from the USS Chaumont route from Annapolis, Maryland to Manila, Philippines in 1926 with stops in Guantanamo, Cuba; Coco Solo, Panama Canal Zone; San Diego, California; San Pedro, California; San Francisco, California; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Guam. Excursions from Manila include visits to Shanghai and Peking, China as well as the Yangtze River. Later trips include ephemera and photographs from Kyoto and Tokyo, Japan.

One letter includes a description of "child life in Japan" that the author suggests might be useful for a Bible class. The second letter consists of a 15 page description titled "The Log" (circulation 120) and describes in detail travels to different places in Asia. Sections are titled: 'Manila', 'Along the China Sea - Hong Kong', 'Shanghai', and 'Yokohama.'
