It contains pasted-in colorful handmade and printed ephemera and letters, related to football, theater and school. There are also candy wrappers, ribbons, hats, Camel cigarettes, and many pages of hand-written text and sentimental authographs that provide a "diary" of Roxana's high school experiences.

Includes scrapbooks and diaries of Thompson's time at the Bradford Academy, a women's boarding school in Haverhill, Massachusetts. There are also diaries from after Thompson's graduation, when she returned to Indianapolis. These include entries about World War I, including newspaper clippings of people from her area who were drafted. Finally, there are letters written to Thompson by various people.

  • Cadet life, such as parades, classroom scenes, spring hike, penalty tours, marching to class, and the gymnasium decorated for a dance
