This collection consists of a scrapbook, entitled 'My Memory Book, W.I.H.S.' and accompanying material from James Noah Hess, Washington and Lee University class of 1930. W.I.H.S stands for Washington Irving High School in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

Manuscripts of James Poyntz Nelson, a chief engineer of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad and the Elizabethtown, Lexington and Big Sandy Railroad. Includes diaries, a letter copy book and a personal notebook. The Nelson Family lived in Lexington, Kentucky.

This collection is composed entirely of a scrapbook containing the correspondence of James 'Jimmy' W. Brown, Jr. while a student at the College of William and Mary from 1936-1937. He was a student at William and Mary from 1936-1940. The letters have been pasted into the scrapbook.

Scrapbook pertaining to James W. Caywood's service in the United States Navy during World War II while in Hawaii as part of the 26th Special Naval Construction Battalion. The bulk of the scrapbook contains photographs, newspaper clippings, and drawings kept by Caywood while serving in Hawaii. Some of the photographs document the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 and depict Caywood and other African-American sailors in everyday life on the island, as well as local Hawaiian women. Newspaper material includes clippings mentioning work done by the Seabees and copies of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin issues announcing the attack on Pearl Harbor, Roosevelt's death, and the surrender of Germany and Japan.

One black scrapbook, 16.5" x 18.25", containing clippings about the 1951 football scandal, Pomfret's resignation and A.D. Chandler's election as president, and protests against Chandler's social rules in 1955.

This collection contains letters, a scrapbook, and other material of Janet Snyder during her time at the College of William and Mary from 1934-1937. Included in the papers are photographs of student activities such as football games, dances, and Commencement; a scrapbook of newspaper articles, course assignments, and programs from school plays and athletic events; and a photograph album featuring football games, students, the dedication of Duke of Gloucester Street in 1934, and the visit of U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt to William and Mary in 1934.
