The [Benton] Ledger and Scrapbook is a single item used as both a ledger and a scrapbook. The name Benton appears at the top of pages of the ledger, which may be the location of the business, probably a general store in Benton, Holmes County, Ohio. The ledger lists goods sold and names of customers, while the newspapers include poems, short stories, marriages, obituaries, and more.

The collection consists of records from the Blacksburg Baptist Church, currently known as Church on Main in Blacksburg. The boxes contain materials related to financial records, minutes, church history, scrapbooks, photographs, ledger books, cassette tapes, correspondence, and more. The collection is organized based on organizations and types of records. This includes the Baptist Young People's Union, Church Building Committee, Church Bulletins, Correspondences, Financials, Leadership, Manuscripts, Membership, Photographs, Women's Missionary Society, and Women's Missionary Union. There are also printed out copies of microfilm pages which have been sorted into the "microfilm copies" and "permanent file copies." Many of the documents in these two series are duplicates of the original materials found in the other series. Some of the materials in the microfilm and permanent file copies are not found in the originals.

This collection conains a scrapbook of newspaper clippings and photographs of the Blacksburg High School Warrior Band and the Band Boosters, created by Frances Hutcheson Russell.

Scrapbook compiled by an unidentified person--presumably a military service member, possibly serving in the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force--and comprised of cartoons and clippings from British periodicals, largely relating to the air force.

The scrapbooks in this collection contain holiday cards, advertising and trade cards, and illustrations of people, animals, and flowers. One of the scrapbooks and some pages belonged to the Bennett family of Kansas. Some of the loose scrapbook pages were likely created by the Parmelee family of Connecticut. The owners and creators of the other scrapbooks and loose pages are unidentified.

Papers of Edward Everett Thompson (1911-1989), veterinarian of Salem, Virginia, and World War II veteran of U. S. Army Veterinary Corps, including a veterinary clinic daybook, personal financial records and several scrapbooks and photo albums, focusing on Thompson's career and activities, his military service, and Republican Party politics.

Photographic album compiled by unidentified German soldier during World War II, including snapshot photographs of soldiers, civilians, armament, vehicles, scenery, and ruins in Budapest and elsewhere in eastern Europe.

The Isobel Baylor Scrapbook is a scrapbook created by Baylor that includes playbills, letters, inivtations, newspaper clippings and more. The scrapbook commeorates her time at High Point High School in High Point, North Carolina, and subjects include theater and social life.

This collection includes the papers of James R. Perdue and his family. Items include a program for the Battle of the Crater reunion, a Sunday School concert flyer, seven obituaries for Perdue, a letter from J. R. Perdue, Jr., and two ledgers. Perdue (1837-1915) was a banker from Manchester, Virginia, and served as a Confederate soldier in the Otey Battery, Virginia Artillery during the American Civil War.
