The collection contains materials related to Dr. Carl A. Fehr's career as a music professor as well as his direction of William and Mary's choral program, The Common Glory, the Founders summer pageants and the Williamsburg Baptist Church choir. In addition to his reflections on choral direction and discipline, the collection includes extensive materials on Dr. Fehr's professional management of the College's choral program, a series of published choral programs, a collection of choral music, his teaching notes and curricula, correspondence, professional awards and memberships, as well as his dissertation and other academic credentials. The choral program is also extensively represented in Choir and Chorus communications, activities, group photographs, scrapbooks and publicity during the years of Dr. Fehr's directorship. In addition to the regular academic year choral program, the Choir's annual spring tours, special guest appearances and national broadcast performances are documented in correspondence, news clippings, photographs, scrapbooks, and audio recordings. The audio recordings were reformatted from their original reel-to-reel audiotape and LP formats and CDs are available for purchase. This collection contains letters, photographs, scrapbooks and other material related to the Person, Hickman, and Walton families. The bulk of the collection contains material related to Charles and William Person. Included are photographs of family members and the trips they took including to the York River, scrapbooks of the Person-Walton family and scenes from the Newport News Naval Yards, and an oral history conducted with William Person describing Williamsburg, Virginia in the first half of the 20th century.

The collection includes materials that document the activities of the Chinese Student Organization (CSO). Materials include items such as scrapbooks.

Contains letters, post cards, scrapbooks, audio CDs and other material related to the Christopher Wren Singers, an a capella student organization that specializes in singing madrigal music. Included in the accession are letters and postcards from alumni, scrapbooks of events from 1991-2001, and a 2012 book celebrating 25 years of the Cristopher Wren Singers.

This collection contains two scrapbooks and various loose clippings and photographs related to the student service group Circle K International at the College of William and Mary. One of the scrapbooks includes photographs, clippings, correspondence, and announcements of various events in the organization from 1964 to 1965. The other scrapbook is disbound and out of order, but contains photographs, clippings, ephemera, and reports pertaining to Circle K from 1958 to 1964. There are also loose clippings, photographs, and certificates from circa 1958 to 1985 that may have been part of a scrapbook at one point in time.

The collection includes a wealth of information on the Baughman and Hulver families, and others who established the Baughman Settlement in the late eighteenth century. The collection spans from the antebellum Civil War era through World War Two. The collection includes correspondence, postcards, family photograph albums and assorted photographs, biographical sketches and family history, books, legal documents, receipts, certificates, and Confederate money. Also present are assorted newspapers and news clippings from Hardy County and other areas of West Virginia, as well as papers from the Midwest, upper South, and East Coast from the late nineteenth century through the early twentieth century. The collection also contains a number of medical, agricultural, religious, and consumer catalogues and pamphlets. This collection includes information on family history in Hardy County and the surrounding areas, as well as information about the experiences of a West Virginia agricultural community in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

The collection consists of the removed pages of a scrapbook composed by the Colonial Piecemakers. The pages include digital prints and clippings related to activities of the Guild.
