Diary of Henrietta S. Fitzhugh of a trip. This collection consists of the papers of Jefferson H. Clark, a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania physician, who was a field surgeon in France during World War I, and of the research papers of his daughter Mary Clark Shade (1928-2009), who was working on a book documenting her father's WWI duty.

This collection details the vast women's labor movement in Central America (mostly concentrating on Nicaragua) in the 1990s and early 2000s as a part of Dr. Jennifer Bickham Mendez's dissertation research. The collection includes newspaper clippings, secondary source articles, publications from various women's labor organizations in Central America, personal field notes and contacts, along with many other materials pertaining to her research. Dr. Bickham Mendez's research acquainted her with many women's labor organizations, giving her an opportunity to explore the work being done in Nicaragua related to women's working conditions and human rights. A majority of her research focused on zonas francas, specific areas within Nicaragua and other Central American countries that face inhumane working conditions in maquilas, or factories that export their manufactured goods to other countries. As the collection progresses, Dr. Bickham Mendez contributed material related to the feminist movement in Nicaragua, including various pamphlets and brochures that discuss various feminist topics such as domestic violence, reproductive health rights, and machismo/toxic masculinity. The collection concentrates on specific women's right organizations that organize around establishing better working conditions for women in these maquilas as well as the national and international responses that resulted from these organizations.

The papers of William & Mary Law School Professor Emeritus John M. Levy include speeches given at various events by Dr. Levy, newsclippings either written by Levy or pertaining to Levy, as well as coursework and research during his tenure at the Law School.

The collection contains the correspondence from Robert Bruce Johnson to his parents and his aunt during the period of his service in the U.S. Army Air Force from his enlistment in September 1942 to his discharge in September 1945 after the conclusion of World War II. Johnson began his service as a private with the 19th Anti-Submarine Squadron, where he served until the fall of 1943, when he was promoted to corporal in the 812th Bomb Squad. The letters include descriptions of his movements between bases, the training and classroom instruction that he is given as an airplane mechanic, and various trips taken off base. He attends training at Miami Beach Basic Training Center in Florida and Lowry Army Air Field in Colorado before spending the majority of his service at an unspecified base in England. He makes regular comments to his parents about his observations of the new locations he encounters, the quality of life on base, and his friendships in the Army. In a letter from July 2, 1944, Johnson notifies his parents that his girlfriend from Richmond has decided to marry someone else due to his long absence during the war.

Notebooks of typescript or handwritten abstracts of land documents and Revolutionary War records kept by J[oseph] T . McAllister, a lawyer from Warm Springs, Virginia. Most of the land abstracts are from Bath County, Virginia from the late 1700's to mid 1800's, though some records are from the 1910/11 era for Bath County and 1904 era for Highland County. The Revolutionary transcripts include many war service declarations from many Virginia Counties.
