This collection consists of papers, pamphlets, artifacts and ephemera created and kept by Herbert W. Hausmann (Class of 1964). Many materials relate to athletics, including football and basketball guidebooks and programs, promotional buttons, photographs of the American Indian mascot, and an embroidered cheerleader's sweater emblem. Also included are Hausmann's 1964 diploma, his embroidered award blanket, a tercentenary hat, six highball glasses with the William & Mary coat of arms, and one quart beer mug with the William & Mary feathers logo. Hausmann has also included personal recollections along with an inventory of his materials.
