This collection contains a substantial record of the administrative aspects of the Alumni Band Organization (ABO). Although the bulk of the records are related to this aspect of the ABO, the records are incomplete in several areas. However, the organization is in the process of collecting their records for donation to the University Archives and these gaps will likely be filled in the future. The records of the group are exhaustive in regards to the newsletters published by the group. However, the concert programs, photographs, and assorted ephemera are also incomplete at this time.

This collection contains the records of the Yorktown Branch of the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities (APVA). Included in the collection are minutes, correspondence, treasurer's records, photographs, and scrapbooks.

Records of the Capital Club of Williamsburg (formerly named the Middle Plantation Club of Williamsburg), which was founded by Rawls Byrd in 1966. The collection includes organizational histories, membership directories and rosters, meeting minutes, scrapbooks of club events, and other material.

The collection contains materials related to Dr. Carl A. Fehr's career as a music professor as well as his direction of William and Mary's choral program, The Common Glory, the Founders summer pageants and the Williamsburg Baptist Church choir. In addition to his reflections on choral direction and discipline, the collection includes extensive materials on Dr. Fehr's professional management of the College's choral program, a series of published choral programs, a collection of choral music, his teaching notes and curricula, correspondence, professional awards and memberships, as well as his dissertation and other academic credentials. The choral program is also extensively represented in Choir and Chorus communications, activities, group photographs, scrapbooks and publicity during the years of Dr. Fehr's directorship. In addition to the regular academic year choral program, the Choir's annual spring tours, special guest appearances and national broadcast performances are documented in correspondence, news clippings, photographs, scrapbooks, and audio recordings. The audio recordings were reformatted from their original reel-to-reel audiotape and LP formats and CDs are available for purchase. The Christopher Bram papers largely encompass Bram's career as a novelist and writer but also include personal papers, audiovisual material, and artifacts. The first 12 series comprise materials relating to each of the major book length works Bram has produced during his career. Series 1 contains materials relating to Bram's first novel, which remains unpublished. Subsequent series are organized chronologically by publication date. Series 13 and 14 contain Bram's shorter works, including material related to unfinished novels, as well as screenplays, short stories, and poetry. Series 15 contains works featuring Bram, including critical articles and interviews with Bram. Series 16 consists of Bram's notebooks, which contain his ideas for novels and short stories. Series 17 contains works by friends which Bram collected and, in some cases, edited. Series 18 contains materials related to events that Bram participated in, and awards and recognition which he received. Series 19 contains materials related to Bram's teaching. Series 20 contains materials related to Bram's connection with William & Mary, including materials from his undergraduate studies at William & Mary as well as his future involvement with the college as a Writer-in-Residence. Series 21 contains materials related to the literary business, including publication agreements and royalty statements. These materials retain Bram's original order, which sorted materials by the publishers he worked with throughout his career. Series 22 contains Bram's personal papers, including materials related to his high school, Boy Scouts, military service, employment, and family. This series also includes Bram's personal diaries, which are restricted during the lifetimes of Bram and his partner. Series 23 contains Bram's correspondence. This series is organized alphabetically by correspondent. Series 24 contains photographs. Series 25 contains artifacts and ephemera. Series 26 contains audiovisual materials which have also been physically separated from the rest of the collection.

Photographs and photograph albums, circa 1950s-1980s, of Doris C. Baker, author and poet of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The photographs document her travels throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia and include images of scenery, people with whom she met, and people with whom she traveled. Baker was from Muskegon, Michigan and went to work teaching in Department of Defense schools in Europe in the 1950s.

This collection includes both processed series and unprocessed accessions of records created by the Earl Gregg Swem Library at the College of William and Mary including those from component offices and individual staff members. A majority of the collection contains correspondence from the dean of the libraries and library administration. Inventories for some series and accessions are available in the Special Collections Research Center and links to PDFs of those inventories can be provided when available.

The Ephemera Collection contains material primarily acquired for teaching. It includes material in various formats, most of which have been previously published. The collection is currently being processed and new items will be added on an ongoing basis. For this reason, the indicated date range is approximate at this point.

Correspondence and papers of Frank Shatz of Lake Placid, New York and Williamsburg, Virginia, 1965-2009. Subject matter of the collection is foreign policy, the Lake Placid Council on Foreign Policy, public funding for libraries and public television and radio, the endowment of the Reves Center for International Studies at the College of William and Mary and more. Includes Frank Shatz's World Focus columns from the Virginia Gazette.
