This collection consists of newspaper clippings about William and Mary (1955); correspondence about the physical plant (1951); an Alumni Society address (1893); and reports and booklets.

The collection includes fliers and booklets from companies used by William & Mary Food Services including Aramark, Marriott, and Shamrock. The collection also includes dining hall tickets used by students and fliers for shows and dances at the "Wigwam" in the Dining Hall.

Book and individual sheet music of musical scores, probably collected by Frances Breeze. Scrapbooks created by Josephone Carey Stanton and possibly others. Roland Halstead's collection of ephemera from trips abroad and musical production programs and guides. Undetermined parts of the collection were given by Dianne Webb (via Frances Breeze) in memory of Manny and Harold Chapman. Includes a handwritten score by Harold Chapman.

Papers of Helen L. Johnson, circa 1925-1940, covering her activities with the Methodist Episcopal Church Woman's Home Missionary Society. Materials include letters addressed to Johnson, photographs, programs, fliers, prayers and religious songs and other ephemera of a religious nature. Geographic areas covered include Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, and New York State.

Collection of material about Williamsburg, Virginia area history including Colonial Williamsburg Foundaton, Williamsburg Public Library, "Model" school of Williamsburg, Yorktown Bicentennial, Bundles for Britain and more. Includes photographs of family and friends, many set in Williamsburg, and photograph of dedication of the Confederate Monument on the Palace Green.

The Jennings C. Wise papers consist primarily of Jennings C. Wise's incoming and outgoing correspondence from the period 1910 to 1960. Included are letters dating from his years as Professor and Commandant of Cadets at VMI, from his practice of law, and from his retirement period in which he devoted himself primarily to writing. Wise was passionately interested in the history and future development of VMI and much of the correspondence reflects his ongoing involvement with the school. He often held controversial views and frequently expressed his dismay at what he perceived to be a lessening of military discipline at VMI. Other items in the papers include:

Papers, 1937-1973, of Admiral John Lesslie Hall, Jr. of Williamsburg and Alexandria, Virginia, and while stationed at Pearl Harbor, San Francisco and Norfolk, Virginia. The papers are both personal and professional. The collection contains material concerning World War II Operations TORCH (North Africa), BIGOT-HUSKY, AVALANCHE (Salerno), NEPTUNE-OVERLORD, and as well as the Army-Navy joint agreement on Normandy. Also includes material pertaining to his work with the USO, the Naval War College, Army War College and Armed Forces Staff College as well as speeches, newspaper clippings, photographs and pamphlets. While the majority of the correspondence is with his wife and with his brother Channing M. Hall, there is correspondence with prominent individuals: Omar Bradley, Arleigh Burke, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Ernest Joseph King, George C. Marshall, Chester W. Nimitz, George S. Patton, Jr., Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman and other high-ranking military and civilian figures.
