Brent and Swan Business Records, 1804-1806, consist of a daybook, ledger, a supplemental ledger, and an account book. They record financial transactions related to the partnership's activities as a mill, blacksmith shop, and general store. They record the name of customers, amount owed, amount paid, and transactions made by mill.

Stafford County (Va.) Court Records, 1664-1793 (bulk 1686-1693) include an Order Book, a Clerk's Order Book and a Scheme Book L-D. An order book is the formal, corrected transcription of the clerk's notes of the proceedings of court. From the records-keeping point of view, the county clerk has always been the most important local official.

Stafford County (Va.) Deed Book, 1722-1728, records the name of the grantor and grantee, the residence of both individuals and the description of property being sold or transferred. The volume also includes wills--the name of the testator, list of heirs and the year the wills were proven in court and probate recors such as inventories and appraisements, settlements of estates and adminstrator/executor and guardian accounts.

Deed Book 26A, 1865-1870, of Stafford County Court. This reel record the name of the grantor and grantee, the residence of both individuals and the description of property being sold or transferred. The reel includes Part I (pp. 1-362) and Part II (pp. 363-800). This reel has an index.

Deed Books (Libers O, P and S), 1748-1767 and 1780-1786, of Stafford County Court. The deed books record the name of the grantor and grantee, the residence of both individuals and the description of property being sold or transferred. The volumes also includes wills. Deed Book Liber O does not contain any wills such as probate records, inventories and appraisements. The only information legible in Deed Book Liber P are (1754-1761). The volumes have indexes which contains the first and last names of both parties. It is arranged alphabetically from A-Z.

Stafford County (Va.) Election Records, 1908-1968, include 52 volumes of registered voters from 11 precincts (white) and 2 volumes (1089900) from one unidentified colored precinct in the county. Precincts include Brooke, Chatham, White Oak, Falmouth, Griffis, Hartwood, Roseville, Stafford, Simpson, Courthouse and Stafford C.H.

Stafford County Judgment (Declaration), 30 Jan. 1785. Consists of a judgment from a debt case, Thomas Lawson, Assignee of Samuel Bailey, vs. John Hedgman.
