The Beulah O. Allen Collection contains a variety of materials from Allen's life. Her papers contain correspondence with a variety of friends and associates, primarily Lucy Lee Lancaster, the first female graduate from Virginia Tech. In addition, the collection also contains Virginia Tech Commencement programs, Cotillion Club Dance programs, resources related to the Virginia Tech Library, newspaper clippings about the construction of the new Newman Library, and a large collection of photographs about the Town of Blacksburg and her friends and family.

The collection consists of records from the Blacksburg Baptist Church, currently known as Church on Main in Blacksburg. The boxes contain materials related to financial records, minutes, church history, scrapbooks, photographs, ledger books, cassette tapes, correspondence, and more. The collection is organized based on organizations and types of records. This includes the Baptist Young People's Union, Church Building Committee, Church Bulletins, Correspondences, Financials, Leadership, Manuscripts, Membership, Photographs, Women's Missionary Society, and Women's Missionary Union. There are also printed out copies of microfilm pages which have been sorted into the "microfilm copies" and "permanent file copies." Many of the documents in these two series are duplicates of the original materials found in the other series. Some of the materials in the microfilm and permanent file copies are not found in the originals.

This collection relates to the Blacksburg Historic District and documents efforts by Blacksburg residents and the Draper-Preston Neighborhood Association to register their homes as historic landmarks in 1987-1989.

This collection contains records from the Blacksburg Lions Club, primarily including documents related to their eye-sight charity from 1962 through 1989. Additional items includes a mailing list, list of members, buget information, and a list of club officers. The Blacksburg Breakfast Lions Club was founded and chartered in 1973 in the Blacksburg, Virignia area and prior to that the group operated under the name Blacksburg Lions Club.

The Blair-Weindel-Schrader Family Papers include nearly 100 letters to and from letters of the three families, all based in Marion, Virginia, from about 1958-1998. Many of the letters are typed, but include handwritten addenda. The letters, written to relatives in and around other parts of Virginia, contain substantial detail on family members and local/regional activities.

The collection consists of scrapbooks, journals, V.P.I. reunion materials, photograph albums, family diplomas, and the diary of Nannie V. Sibold. As a whole, the collection dates from 1912 to 1990. However, Carrie T. Sibold's scrapbook journals, which run from 1974 to 1990, constitute the the bulk of the collection material.

The Carter/Cash Family Collection contains memoirs, biographies, photographs, funeral programs, newspaper and magazine articles, and memorabilia relating to the Carter family and Johnny Cash.

The Christiansburg-Blacksburg Chapter, Rotary Club Records contains newspaper articles, brochures, handouts, pamphlets and flyers pertaining to the Christiansburg-Blacksburg Rotary Club from 1965 to 1998.

This contains a collection of small (1- to 2-folder) manuscripts related to various aspects of the American Civil War and obtained from various sources.
