Correspondence, notes, papers, newspaper clippings, drafts and published articles belonging to Courtney Sharpe Ward, a writer for the Richmond News Leader in Richmond, Virginia. Many of her articles had a historical connection. The addition mostly consists of material on the 1957 350th Anniversary of Jamestown. Includes photograph and 1957 Press Card of Courtney Sharpe Ward.

Papers, 1927-1965, of Earl Gregg Swem, librarian and historian. Includes correspondence, reports, poems, and newspaper clippings. Subjects covered by the collection include Virginia history, bibliography, American Library Association, Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities, Colonial Williamsburg, College of William and Mary, Phi Beta Kappa, Virginia Colonial Records Project, Virginia Historical Society, Jamestown Festival, Hampton Celebration, and the Virginia Historical Index. Correspondents include Alvin D. Chandler, Virginius Dabney, John Frederick Dorman, Douglas Southall Freeman, Fairfax Harrison, John M. Jennings, David John Mays, Davis Y. Paschall, James E. Pomfret, William M. E. Rachal and William Clayton Torrence.

This collection consists of correspondence, clippings, photographs, programs, playbooks and other material collected by William and Mary Theatre professor Howard Scammon. The bulk of the material is correspondence between Scammon and his former students, but the papers also include documentation related to the William and Mary Theatre, The Common Glory, the Jamestown Festival of 1957, other Williamsburg theatre groups and famous William and Mary alumni such as Glenn Close and Linda Lavin. Some personal papers are also included.

Correspondence between John Masefield and Marguerite Osborne, the editor of the Virginia Gazette (newspaper), regarding the publishing of his poem in commemoration of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's visit, in 1957, to Jamestown in connection with the 350th anniversary of the settlement of Jamestown. Includes copy of this poem, "The Virginian Adventure", newspaper clipping of Masefield's "Sea Fever" from the Newport News Daily Press, 1967 and Israel Shenker's tribute to Masefield in the New York Times, 1970.

Collection contains items donated by Will Molineux, primarily through the Williamsburg Historic Records Association. Some items are personal papers including newspaper articles, belonging to Will Molineux. The photograph collection documents Williamsburg, Virginia, including James City County and York County. Subjects include people, places, buildings, events, Colonial Williamsburg as well as the College of William & Mary.
