Two page letter dated February 16, 1862 intended as an inquiry to the Governor of Georgia from the County of Glynn. As representative of the county, Burnet is asking if the officers of the county (the sheriff, clerks of courts, surveyor, and ordinary) will be subject to a draft in order to furnish the number of troops not filled by volunteers in the time that the Governor requested. The sentiment of the officials is that they would rather resign their posts and volunteer then be drafted.

Copy of a recollection of life in Williamsburg as an African American from the Ketron family, particularly concerning local draft board practices during the ramp up of involvement in the Vietnam conflict. The letter, directed to the attention of the Lemon Project on the campus of William and Mary, highlights the observations of this family and clear recollections that African American men, especially poorer men, were drafted in this town at a much higher rate than their white counterparts.

Papers, 1955-1975, of Lynne O'Neill, a striptease artist and burlesque dancer. Includes correspondence, notes, newspaper clippings and printed material. There is also a diary containing what seems to be the first seven pages of a draft of a book that O'Neill was writing; it includes her opinion on salaries and the death of a performer named Eve Addams. The notes include a list of incidents, including an attempted sexual assault against her, and a list of questions that she may have wanted to address in her book.
