This collection contains a thirty-leaf photograph album. It is illustrated with eighty-five mounted sepia-toned photographs and fifteen mounted cyanotypes, as well as nineteen photographs. The photographs document the lives of a group of American women who appear to be living in or near Havana, Cuba in the early twentieth century.

Posters, from 1962 to 2018, of feature films, documentaries, animated films, film events, and others that were produced in Cuba by Cuban artists. Posters were primarily created by using a silk screen process and were made for both Cuban and non-Cuban films.

Diary, 1929, of the trip of an unnamed person from New York to Cuba and then back through the eastern United States. Includes descriptions of Havana, automobile rides through the mountains of Cuba, and stays at hotels in Cuba. It also includes descriptions of the trip through Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

This collection contains correspondence, ephemera, and financial documents related to Edward C. Dyer's business as an auctioneer and importer of cigars (segars) from Havana, Cuba. The majority of the documents are dated between 1853-1865 with the full scope of the collection ranging from 1808-1897. The bulk of the letters were written by John Benjamin Belt, a cigar exporter in Havana, detailing the Cuban import-export cigar trade including suppliers, brands, quality of various tobacco leaves, start-ups, and costs association with the tobacco business. The collection contains letters from Belt to his mother and sister, Elizabeth, Edward C. Dyer's wife. Dyer also had sustained correspondence with Herman Heins and George Dufour, J. Amez, James Harper, Robert Marron, and Reid and Eaton. In addition to the correspondence, there are also numerous ephemera items such as receipts, check stubs, Balance sheets, invoices, property deeds, legal documents, and estate papers. Among the receipts is a receipt for the purchase of a slave by Dyer. Finally, the collection contains several bound account books of Dyer's for various companies with which he did business.

Diary, 1959, of Helen Mantel of Brooklyn, New York. Includes her daily activities, people with which she meets, and places that they go. It also includes a few very brief entries regarding a trip to Cuba taken in June and July of 1959, months after Fidel Castro had overthrown Fulgencio Batista. Mantel's grandmother lived in Cuba and the family took the trip because she was sick. In a couple of sentences Helen Mantel mentions seeing Batista's daughter in a restaurant, and the fact that her mother saw someone described as "Castro's right hand."

The collection contains letters written by Jean Champion to her parents while visiting Havana, Cuba with her friends in 1939. In the letters, Jean describes her contact with diplomatic officials in Cuba, impressions of presidential candidate Fulgenico Batista, visiting clubs, and going to the beach.

Two manuscripts and an accompanying letter describing an insurrection in Cuba during the Ten Years' War. The manuscripts give an account of how many insurgents were killed or wounded, name the towns that were ccupied by the insurgents, and give the status of supplies and ammunition. The accompanying letter, from James C. Burnham to Lanman & Kemp of New York, describes the status of the sugar trade in Cuba. Transcripts are included.
