The Department of Athletics records includes files of the Athletic Association, publicity, printed material, publications, statistics, schedules and ephemera.

The collection consists of one box of schedules, rosters, programs, scorebooks, tickets posters and other materials related to the intercollegiate baseball program at William & Mary from the years 1908-2015. The material is primarily divided chronologically, although there is one separate folder containing two scorebooks from the 1920s and another containing tickets to baseball games from the years 1999-2010. A majority of the material was originally published or created by the William and Mary Athletics Department.

The George McFadden Ultimate Frisbee Team jersey and photographs collection contains photographs documenting the William & Mary Ultimate Frisbee Team from 1988 to 1990. The collection also includes a Jersey beloging to the William & Mary Ultimate Frisbee Team.

This collection is composed of three scrapbooks, 1939-1941, about College of William and Mary sports created by Joe Holland, Class of 1944 and member of Sigma Pi Fraternity.

One box of notes, media guides, schedules, programs and other materials related to the men's gymnastics team for the yearears 1974-2015. A majority of the collection is made up of programs, media guides and schedules related to the men's and women's gymnastics teams and the various events they competed in. The collection also contains a folder of gym notes from the late 1970s and early 1980s written by long-standing men's team head coach Cliff Gauthier. Only one folder in the collection pertains to the women's team while the rest pertain exclusively to the men's team.

The collection contains programs, newsletters, clippings, box scores, photographs, game footage and other material related to the College of William and Mary Men's and Women's Soccer teams from 1965 to 2022. Also included are clippings, photographs, and articles about local soccer camps and tournaments that were held at William and Mary. A majority of the material in the collection, including the long run of "soccer scrapbooks," pertains mainly to the Men's team between the years of 1965 and 2003 and was originally compiled by former Men's Soccer head coach, Al Albert. Five folders of paper material and two audiovisual items pertain to the Women's team. The audiovisual material in the collection is largely game footage, much of which is recorded in DVD format and pertains to contests held between 1984 and 2013. Other games and soccer-related events, held mostly during the 1970s and 1980s, are recorded in various videotape formats.

Collection contains a football pin belonging to William Kenneth Close (William & Mary Class of 1921). Materials also includes photocopies of William Kenneth Close and excerpts from the Colonial Echo describing the history of basketball, football and baseball at William & Mary and highlights from William Kenneth Close's sports life at William & Mary.

Collection includes materials that document the daily activities of the William & Mary Archery Team. Items include ephemera such as team jackets and stickers. Digital records include meeting minutes, membership list, photographs, and constitution from the William & Mary Archery Team.

Materials related to the William & Mary Ultimate Frisbee men's teams, including discs and team jerseys and t-shirts. The team names are also represented, from the original "Wizards" to the current "Darkhorse."
